Djokovic - the 2013 runner-up - got his shot at the title by beating Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov in a tight four-set affair 6-4, 3-6, 7-6, 7-6. The big serving Serbian, who is coached by German legend Boris Becker, will be hoping to win his second Wimbeldon championship, after coming out on top in 2011.

Federer had an easier time of it in his semifinal, beating Canada's Milos Raonic in straight sets 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. The Swiss veteran has won a record seven Wimbledon titles, the most recent of which came in 2012.

Sunday will mark the 35th time the two tennis aces have met, with Federer holding a razor thin 18-16 edge. Federer and Djokovic have contested 11 matches at Grand Slam events, with the Swiss star having won six times.
